On her birthday Canadian tennis star Eugenie Bouchard wishes ‘better happen this year’ as she ‘turns 25 on the 25th’ and let it be her ‘golden year’. She is also “looking to bring this amount of extra into the next year.”
As she was once considered ‘Hot Grand Slam Property of Women’s Tennis’ as she made to semi finals of Australian Open and French Open and remarkable ran upto finals of Wimbledon, all in 2014. After that she could not see her bright side in tennis court. Even she encountered a bad situation, where she is slipping her rankings out of top 200.
Recent past she started gaining her grip in the ranking. At the ASB Classic in Auckland, New Zealand, Eugenie Bouchard advanced to quarter finals. But failed to overlook then second seed Julia Goerges in a thrilling three setter. After this in Luxembourg she lost again to Goerges, but Bouchard didn’t fail to post an impressive game.
At this year Grand Slam opener Australian Open Eugenie Bouchard was thrown out by four time champion Serena Williams at second round.
In January 2019 at Oracle Challenger Series, Newport Beach Eugenie Bouchard progressed well until quarter finals.
In Qatar Open in Doha, no one stop her run until finals, where Eugenie Bouchard was tamed by Madison Brengle. That too the Canadian did not gave up easily, as she fought till the end and proven her improved game skills, by dragging the game till the decider set.
So far signs are good for Eugenie Bouchard narrowly lost to WTA second ranked Simona Halep in second round of Dubai Duty Free Championship 2019.
If these performances are any indicator, a BRIGHT and GOLDEN days are in stock for Eugenie Bouchard, as she wishes.
HAPPY BIRTHDAY EUGENIE BOUCHARD!!
